Relatives blame a band of wild monkeys for killing New Delhi Deputy Mayor S.S. Bajwa.

Bajwa, 52, was reading the paper early Saturday on the first-floor terrace of his house in East Delhi when a horde of simians attacked, the Times of India reports. He appears to have slipped and fallen from the terrace while fighting off the monkeys, family members tell the local press. The paper says Bajwa suffered head injuries in the fall and died Sunday at a local hospital.
